Mango & Mint Policies

Refund and Cancellation Policy:

1. Policy Overview:

This policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations and refunds for both one-time meal purchases and weekly subscriptions. Mango & Mint aims to provide exceptional service, and we handle refund requests with fairness and transparency. By placing an order with us, you agree to the following terms.

2. Cancellations:

One-Time Meal Orders:

  • Customers can cancel a one-time meal order within 2 hours of placing the order for a full refund.

  • If a cancellation request is made after 2 hours, the order is non-refundable, as meal preparation will have begun.

  • Orders that are in transit for delivery cannot be canceled or refunded.

Weekly Subscription Plan:

  • Customers can cancel their subscription at any time.

  • To avoid being charged for the next week, cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the renewal date.

  • If canceled after the renewal date, the subscription will remain active for that week, and no refunds will be issued.

  • Customers who cancel after their payment has been processed will still receive their meals for the paid period but will not be charged for future cycles.

3. Refund Eligibility:

Refunds will only be granted under the following conditions:

3.1 Service-Related Refunds:

  • If Mango & Mint is unable to fulfill an order due to operational issues, customers will receive a full refund.

  • If a customer receives an incorrect order, they must notify us within 24 hours for a resolution, which may include a replacement or a partial refund.

  • If meals are delivered in an unacceptable condition (e.g., spoiled, damaged packaging), customers must provide photographic proof within 24 hours to be eligible for a refund or replacement.

3.2 Delivery-Related Refunds:

  • If an order is not delivered due to an error on our part, a full refund will be issued or a redelivery will be arranged at no cost.

  • If an order is not delivered due to incorrect address details provided by the customer, no refund will be issued.

  • Delays caused by unforeseen circumstances (weather, traffic, etc.) do not qualify for a refund.

3.3 Customer Dissatisfaction:

  • Refunds are not provided for dissatisfaction based solely on personal taste preferences.

  • Customers with concerns about portion sizes or ingredients should review the menu before purchasing, as no refunds will be issued for expected menu variations.

4. Refund Process:

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days to the original payment method.

  • Customers will receive a confirmation email once their refund has been processed.

  • Refund requests must be submitted through info.mangoandmint@gmail.com within the applicable time frame.

5. Modifications & Pauses:

  • One-time meal orders cannot be modified once placed.

  • Weekly subscription customers can pause their subscription for future deliveries if a request is made 48 hours before the next renewal date.

Food Safety & Allergy Policy

1. Commitment to Food Safety:

At Mango & Mint, we prioritize food safety and adhere to strict hygiene and handling practices to ensure our meals are safe, fresh, and of the highest quality.

2. Ingredient Sourcing & Meal Preparation:

  • We use fresh, high-quality ingredients sourced from reputable suppliers.

  • Meals are prepared following strict sanitation protocols to prevent contamination.

  • All meals are cooked and stored at safe temperatures to maintain freshness during delivery.

3. Allergy & Dietary Considerations:

While we strive to accommodate dietary preferences, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

  • Our meals may contain or come into contact with common allergens such as:

    • Dairy

    • Eggs

    • Nuts (including peanuts and tree nuts)

    • Soy

    • Gluten (wheat)

    • Sesame

  • Customers with severe allergies should exercise caution and contact us before ordering to discuss options.

  • We clearly label meals with allergen information where possible.

4. Cross-Contamination Disclaimer:

  • Our kitchen handles multiple ingredients, including allergens.

  • While we follow strict cleaning procedures, cross-contamination is possible.

  • If you have a severe allergy, we do not recommend ordering from Mango & Mint, as we cannot guarantee 100% allergen-free meals.

5. Storage & Consumption Guidelines:

  • Meals should be refrigerated immediately upon delivery.

  • Consume meals within 3-5 days for optimal freshness.

  • If freezing meals, follow safe thawing and reheating guidelines.

  • Always reheat meals thoroughly before consuming.

6. Customer Responsibility:

  • If you have an allergy or dietary restriction, please notify us in advance.

  • Mango & Mint is not liable for allergic reactions or food-related illnesses resulting from consumption.

7. Food Safety Complaints:

  • If you suspect a food safety issue, contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order.

  • Provide details, including batch information and photos, if applicable.

  • We take all food safety concerns seriously and will investigate promptly.

Shipping & Delivery Policy

1. Policy Overview:

Mango & Mint is committed to providing timely and reliable delivery of fresh meals to our customers. This policy outlines the shipping and delivery terms for both one-time meal orders and weekly subscription plans. By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.

2. Delivery Areas & Availability:

  • We currently deliver within Regina, Saskatchewan.

  • Delivery service is available Monday to Friday between 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

  • Deliveries are not available on weekends.

  • Customers must ensure their delivery address is within our service area before placing an order.

3. Delivery Process:

One-Time Meal Orders:

  • Orders are delivered on the next available delivery day based on our schedule.

  • Customers will receive a confirmation email or SMS with the expected delivery time.

  • If no one is available at the time of delivery, the meal will be left at the designated drop-off location (as specified by the customer).

Weekly Subscription Plan:

  • Subscription meals are delivered on a scheduled basis which is Monday to Friday between 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

  • Customers will receive a weekly delivery schedule via email or SMS.

  • Any changes to delivery times will be communicated in advance.

4. Delivery Fees:

  • Standard delivery fees apply based on location. Customers can check applicable fees at checkout.

  • Customers who redeem free delivery rewards via the Loyalty Program must ensure they have met the points threshold before applying the reward.

5. Failed Deliveries & Redelivery:

  • If a delivery fails due to an incorrect address or lack of access, a reattempt may be made for an additional fee.

  • If the recipient is unavailable, meals will be left at the specified drop-off point. Mango & Mint is not responsible for food spoilage due to delays in retrieval.

  • If a customer provides incorrect delivery details, no refunds will be issued for missed deliveries.

6. Modifications & Delivery Pauses:

  • Customers can update their delivery address by contacting us at least 48 hours before the next scheduled delivery.

  • Once a delivery is in progress, modifications cannot be made.

7. Food Safety & Handling:

  • Meals are delivered in insulated packaging to maintain freshness.

  • Customers are responsible for refrigerating their meals immediately upon receipt.

  • Mango & Mint is not liable for meals left unattended beyond the expected delivery time.

Loyalty & Promotions Policy

Effective Date: 9th February 2025

1. Policy Statement:

Mango & Mint’s Loyalty & Rewards Program is a voluntary program that provides benefits to customers who subscribe to our meal services. By participating in the program, customers agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

2. Eligibility:

  • The program is open to all active Mango & Mint subscribers.

  • Customers must maintain an active subscription to accumulate and redeem points.

  • Mango & Mint reserves the right to exclude any customer from the program due to fraudulent activity or violation of terms.

3. Earning Points:

  • Points are earned through subscription payments and engagement activities as determined by Mango & Mint.

  • Mango & Mint reserves the right to adjust the points system at any time.

  • Points earned have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money or transferred to another customer.

4. Redeeming Points:

  • Points may be redeemed for discounts and rewards as outlined in the program.

  • Rewards are subject to availability and may be modified or discontinued at any time without prior notice.

  • Points must be redeemed before the next subscription payment cycle.

5. Expiry & Limitations:

  • Points expire 6 months after the last account activity.

  • Points cannot be transferred, sold, or combined with another customer’s points.

  • Mango & Mint reserves the right to revoke points from accounts involved in fraudulent or abusive behavior.

6. Modifications & Termination:

  • Mango & Mint reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Loyalty & Rewards Program at any time without prior notice.

  • Any modifications to the program will be communicated to customers via our website or email.

  • If the program is terminated, all unused points will expire immediately.

7. Dispute Resolution:

  • Disputes regarding points or rewards must be reported within 30 days of the transaction.

  • Mango & Mint’s decision on disputes will be final and binding.
